Our Team
Amalia Villa Gómez
Amalia is a data and biomedical engineer, passionate about humanitarian and development applications. She obtained a PhD in biomedical data analysis and machine learning. Currently, she works as a data engineer on analytics, data management, BI tools and DHIS2.
She is driven by the democratization of technology, the collaboration of inter-disciplinary teams, and the application of scientific tools to practical challenges. Her interests lie in music and biking.
Brian Babu Musanga
Brian is truly moved and dedicated toward using Data Science and Analytics to aid decision making, unlocking new operational opportunities and areas to create efficiency through deep insights.
He focuses on creation and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems for carrying out detailed research, statistical analysis and problem solving; using advanced analytical methods and models to answer complex questions.
Carlos Tejo Alonso
Carlos is a data engineer with wide knowledge and expertise in DHIS2 platform, Open Data, Linked Open Data, Semantic Web technologies, software design and development, metadata, standards, data science, human computer interaction and productivity.
He has experience working as technical editor in the Spanish govermental portal for OpenData, technical officer for the Land Portal Foundation, and as a system architect for different institutions like PSI and UiO.
Daniel Castelao Suárez
Daniel is an infrastructure engineer with more than fifteen years of experience working across multiple industries: banking (CaixaBank and BSCH), telecommunications (Telefonica and Maroc Telecom), pharmaceuticals (Hoffmann-La Roche) and chemicals (Dupont).
He has experience in infrastructure administration including server management, monitoring and virtualization of environments receiving hundreds of thousands of requests per day, app administration, and performance optimization.
Eva Rodriguez Casal
Eva is a software engineer with extensive experience in various technological areas. She has worked in software development, database management, network configuration and maintenance, and has acquired important skills in these fields throughout her career.
She is focusing her work in the areas of systems and infrastructure and is passionate about robotics and AI. Eva is a dog lover and also works as a dog trainer.
Evelyn Villegas García
A prior law professional, Evelyn focuses on IT support analysis and the development of computer applications. She has also begun supporting DHIS2 implementation and configuration projects. She has experience in various programming languages (Java, Python, C#, Javascript, and R) and is currently training to specialize in Data Science and Big Data Analytics.
She is passionate about learning, people’s cultures, sustainable development and believes in cycling as a transformative transportation option for the future.
José García Muñoz
José is an experienced IT consultant and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience working in several IT sectors in more than 30 countries, including: health informatics, ICT4D, telecommunications, and banking.
He has built excellent technical skills including analysis, design, and programming in addition to team management and capacity building through implementations of large scale information systems.
Luis Delgado Romera
Luis is a sofware engineer, boasting over 10 years of experience in software development. Driven by a belief in technology’s power to create global positive change, he joined Solidlines to work in Infrastructure and Analytics.
Before joining Solidlines, Luis spent 3.5 years implementing the Android SDK for DHIS2. He has lived in Spain, Sweden, and Germany, and he co-founded clickn.run. Additionally, Luis is a roundnet player and has represented the Spanish National team in the most recent World Cup.
Pablo Soler Blanco
Pablo is a software engineer with experience in research and development . A passion for learning has led him to work in multiple fields across different roles.
He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering and has worked in the automotive, telecommunications and finance industries. He also has collaborated in a university as a professor in Data Science topics. He is interested in sports and travelling.
Paula Costales González
Paula is a billing administration and finance professional, with more than nine years of experience working in the billing and finance department of companies (Canon Business Center and El Corte Inglés Company Division).
She has extensive experience in managing customer and supplier relations, overseeing billing processes, and preparing results reports.
Socorro (Soqui) Lopez
Since 2017, Soqui has worked with aid agencies and NGOs on various digital initiatives, including DHIS2 implementation and dashboard development. She currently specializes in data warehousing and business intelligence. She is also passionate about strengthening data protection through strong data handling practices, risk mitigation strategies, and digital data safeguards.
Originally from the Bay Islands of Honduras, Soqui’s interests include dance, travel and cycling. Her academic background is in public health, geographic information systems, and industrial ecology.
